Over the years, we have developed a special "niche" in the market. We are well known throughout the Pittsburgh metropolitan area as being the innovative experts and design leaders in installing central air conditioning in homes that have radiators, baseboard or electric cable heat.
This type of system is unofficially referred to as Over Head Air Conditioning, or OHAC. Such a system involves air conditioning from the attic or crawl space on the top floor, and installation of registers in the ceiling. The registers are best placed in the corner of the rooms, which allows better air distribution, neatness, and is also more esthetically pleasing. The rear corner of closets are used to install outlets on the first floor ceiling.
The final installed system is quiet and efficient, and all the rooms can be maintained at the same temperature. No walls are destroyed, and the work is very neat and clean. The diagram below illustrates how such a system might be installed.
